So much has been going on! When I last posted I told you we were going to Atlanta to check out the Museum replica store. (Check out the link at the right.) What a success that was. We found clothes for the groom, and got lots of other ideas. What I had thought I would like in the catalog was not what we picked out. Plus, my guy knows a lot about swords and weaponry, and I enjoyed listening to him tell me all about it.

Things are moving along nicely, and falling into place. We went to a stationary store one Saturday and within an hour had everything picked out for the invitations, and for not too much money. I have ordered my dress, and I am in the process of finding fabric for my bride’s maids dresses. Last weekend we went to visit my family in New Mexico. Everyone in my family just loved my groom, and fun was had by all. While we were there, we went ring shopping, too. I’ve always wanted silver, with mother of pearl. No diamonds for me, thanks. We ordered custom rings which should arrive in a few weeks. My mother was pleased, as well, saying she never thought she’d get to go along while we looked for rings. Dad hovered at every store, looking for what he thought we might like, and even found a ring for himself.
